What are the best dog toys for puppies?
I'll be the mother of a new puppy in 3 weeks, I have done much research, but I wanted to know what toys their dogs like. I know about the kong, and yes I'm getting one, are there any other good that I should know?? Thanks for all your help and suggestions! If you have any tips or advice on the new puppies love to hear me!
The two toys that are normally suggest for all the puppies parents kong (you already know about that one) and a Nylabone. The Nylabone puppy is an elastic nylon material that the puppy can chew one. If you your dog can get hooked on them, to save a ton of money on the purchase of rawhide. Another good toy is bone cold. You soak in water and then freeze. The puppy and chewing gum helps a bit numb when teething. Avoid toys are toys that mimic the things you use everyday. Some people might suggest simply using half tied in knots, old towels or other "old items" used. The problem with these is your puppy does not know the difference between old and new and start chewing on socks new hand. I would suggest walking down your hall of toys and only watch a little of everything. Most dogs like to have something to seek, something to chew on, something around with and some pampering. Also check out the toy sections nightclub after the holidays and seasons. Often you can get very nice toys at half price.
