Male quail feathers lose …. Help?
My partner and I have brought two Chinese quails as pets. brought a female quail garden center, interior and a cage and accessories. A few days later I brought a male quail a Cornish aviaries sale all breeds of birds. These quail are babies. When I got home I realized some of his feathers on his back were missing. We put this to the tension and the fact that he was kept in a cage full of men. It seems pretty happy, but it's been a month and have not grown back, and having both along fine. Today we have added more than 2 females same race, as he was "suppose" make it less emphasis. Now he is again struggling with getting more feathers and pecking him on the head. Im worried about this because it is defended and seems to be left in the corner. The cage is a large cage and get the recommended foods. Any ideas? I am very worried!
