Flea and tick control, non-toxic and natural pesticides or dog?
I have a week old St Bernard puppy and I'm looking at 12 different flea and tick marks to the ground in the first-line treatments such as plus, bio, etc and I am amazed at all the toxic chemicals they use. Does anyone have had luck with herbal treatments or non-toxic? If so what has it worked? And top marks for flea control do you recommend?
Garlic and brewer's yeast in powder form works really well. When my farm was invaded by fleas one years I decided to go another route and tried naturally. I swear by now. It is much cheaper and as effective as exposing your dog to the loads of toxic chemicals. Vet will not tell on him b / c they make no money from the sale something that can be bought at a nutrition center decent or a good pet store.
