Homemade Pet Treats

Parrot Treats Home
parrot is available on the market looks very attractive, but unfortunately are usually designed to entice the parrot owner rather than the bird's nutritional needs. Very often contain artificial colorings and preservatives too.
But the good news is that you do not have to depend on pet shop supplies to give your bird healthy, delicious snacks.
Parrot can be very simple question, such as millet, fresh, dried fruit on a skewer or pieces of fresh coconut hanging from the cage (do not overdo the coconut, as though still a nut and as such contains more fat than fruit), or require a little more preparation. Here are some more elaborate ideas for homemade food for your pet parrot is likely to love:
Loro treat recipes:

2 cups pitted fruit (peaches, apricots, papaya, nectarines)
1 / 2 cup apple juice
1 / 2 cup mixed nuts and seeds (almonds, pumpkin seeds, …) 1 jar of baby food-flavored fruit
Mix together and bake at 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes. Be careful to let it cool before feeding a piece to his parrot.

2. Spicy Bun
1 package corn mills Hodgeson Muffin Mix whole wheat flour
3 eggs (in shell)
1 sweet potato, peeled
2 cups fresh vegetables: spinach, broccoli, green peppers, peas
1 carrot, grated
1 / 4 cup jalapeno peppers, seeded
1 / 2 cup carrot juice
3 tablespoons peanut butter
1 jar of baby food vegetarian
Again, mix everything and bake for about 30-40 minutes.
TIP: You can cut into individual portions and freeze, then thaw it one day, or every two days.
Why a hot muffin? Well, the parrots are less developed sense of smell and taste than us, so using spices in moderation can be a bit of good extra and no doubt already have noticed that sometimes your bird absorbs some of its food in water to enhance the flavor. Peppers are also rich in vitamins A and C so it is very healthy not only tasty!
Fun and training
Part of the treatment is how to find food: having your birds forage for will make it just that much more fun. You can also have the fun: for instance cos do not have a high nutritional value but can be used for wrap other foods for fun foraging rumps and attract your birds to try new fruits or vegetables.
As its name indicates, treatment is something unusual, a special bonus not to be substituted for a regular diet. What makes it great as a training reward. Reinforcement training can be used seeds (if your bird has a parrot balanced diet instead of mostly seeds), low-fat cheese (many are addicted to a parrot cheese, so that's a safe way to let them enjoy from time to time), or pieces of hot cake.
