Why, when your dog gets sick the first thing the vet wants do is put them on Science Diet dog food? That dog food is garbage, garbage. It's full of fillers, corn, by products. The first ingredient of a good premium dog food should be protein. No corn or wheat and stuffed with some of the chemicals used to preserve foods that questionable too. So why would a vet recommend? Personally, I refuse to feed any of my dogs and when a special diet is required, I use quality foods are available or do it myself. For the person who said I was a snob food, I used to feed this crap until one of my children got sick. I started researching dog foods and learned what was good and what was bad.
